Dom doesn't drool like he used to, but he does pool secretions and it as if
he isn't aware that as he talks he is also gargleing. I will remind him to
swallow. His speech therapists worked on that with him until he was 18. He does
drool while he sleeps and he has degraded the gum tissue under his eye teeth
because he actually hooks his finger on his lip and scratches while he is
asleep.
He knows this happens and wishes it wouldn't. But he is sleeping when it
happens. I used to pull his fingers out of his mouth when he was little, but
now
it is all up to him.
