A doctor who's a DO (doctor of osteopathic medicine).

They have the same training/schooling as an MD but have additional training
in OMT/structural adjusting. Guess I think of them as upscale chiropractors
on that front. lol

According to Jim's sis in Calif DO's are hard to find out there. We have
tons around here as there was an Osteopathic hospital in Flint until 4 yrs
ago. (it merged with 2 other hospitals and they built a huge new one).

Alex's first OMT treatment occurred in the hospital when he was a few days
old. Lee (Jim's Dad and a DO) did the honors. When Lee checked out Alex (we
hadn't told him of the severe "S" curve on the chest x-ray) he said Alex had
quite a curve. He treated him twice in the hosp and then once per week after
we got out.

At 6 weeks Alex had to have another chest x-ray (follow up) and the
radiologist noted that he'd never seen a curve resolve itself like that
before! roflol
