Kind of hate to say this, but that sounds like
it's probably a "good" thing. Could mean Alex
isn't a typical trier in regards to dislocations,
any more than he is in most other areas. And
maybe that means he'll respond better to treatment
too.

Philina's never had a dislocated anything, so
the only experience I've had with this one is
through talking to Lynn & Nan about Chelsey's
dislocating knees problem. I'm not sure if this
whole saga ever made the list since Lynn's not
here anymore.

Chelsey has been up running around in her pony
walker for years now, but her knees just kept
dislocating on her. So Lynn took her to see
an orthopedic surgeon. And unlike Jude's
experience with Kammie's ortho, this local guy
actually agreed to operate. (Knowing Lynn, that's
probably the ONLY way he could get her out of his
office! <wee grin> When she wants something, she
is one determined lady.) Though he did warn her
"it might not take".

Seemed to work fine though. Until that is Chelsey's
knees suddenly started dislocating to the opposite
side as they had before. And so Lynn is now rather
miffed that the doctor didn't work on both sides of
the knees when he was in there in the first place.
She's also miffed that the doctor now says that
Chelsey's going to have to wear extra special knee
braces for the rest of her life. And evidently these
new braces are much harder to put on then the old style
they'd used. But even so, mostly she's miffed because
nobody had suggested Chelsey should be in them sooner...
