Pooling? does he do a lot of sitting? When he sits is his chair digging into
the back of knee and cutting off the circulation? This can cause cold
extremities by not allowing blood to the feet or it can cause heated swollen
feet by preventing the blood getting back to the heart efficiently (the
depth of the chair seat should allow at least 2 inches clearance to the back
of the knee).
It could be something as simple as the valves in the blood vessels not
working as effectively as they would normally to return the blood from the
lower extremities. If its not causing any problems it may just remain one of
Nicholas' traits of individuality :-) As we are telling Alex frequently at
the moment - its what makes you you, enjoy it :-)
The supreme happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved.
