How did the homeschooling come about? We are in the same situation here...but
Esprit is a little bit younger so I haven't crossed the road yet where I need
to try to get services at home after she is 3.... I'm wondering how I go about
it - with the biggest likelihood of success. What state do you live in?

Maya,
Sorry to hear that Mieko is in the hospital. Sending prayers your way for
her to have a speedy recovery.
It is such a difficult thing to always be so concerned what our kids are
exposed to. I had a therapist the other day say to me when she was at my
house for therapy, "I'm going to wash my hands because I'm feeling a little
under the weather." Now, I should have said that I'd rather not have had her
come in if she felt that way but I didn't and I think Matthew has a little
cold again. With his heart condition this is never a good thing. The funny
thing is that Matthew is home schooled exclusively because of his poor
immune system and she knows that because it was specifically addressed at
his I.E.P. I guess we shouldn't beat ourselves up too much...but I still
find it hard.
Hang in there,

Lord as I face each new day, grant me power, perseverance, patience and
peace.
