To me..."sparkly" would perhaps mean "tingly" like when somehing falls
asleep oe like when I played out in the snow too long and had to thaw
out...there was a painful tingle that happened as feeling was returning to
frozen limbs, toes, or fingers :o) Also...when I was a teenager I had what
we called "numb spells"...it was later determined that it was a form of
epilepsy. But...when I had a spell, the area around my mouth would go numb
and tingly (sparkly is actually a pretty good description)...sometimes it
was all around my mouth and cheeks...sometimes it was more one side then the
other. My fingers would also get tingly on one or both sides. It felt weird.

I'm sure this doesn't help...but just thinking out loud :o)
