> Wow Michelle.....how old was your Mom when this was discovered?
She was young, like 15 yrs old.
She also has a kinked colon (wrote kinky but that didn't sound too good!!!).
She's always had issues with diarrhea and when they tried to do a
colonoscopy the dr couldn't get the tube all the way up there as she was too
kinked to let it pass.
Do you know

I know I don't have it (from my Gall Bladder troubles and a later Kidney
Stone and the visualizations done in testing didn't show any abnromal
placements).
Jim and I were both tested genetically after Alex's diagnosis. Nothing
showed up on mine (or his either) that was abnromal.
In the testing Alex has had done over the years (granted not a lot of it but
renal ultrasound, x-rays) haven't shown any abnormal organ placements.
Molly, who knows! She's not had any x-rays, ultrasounds....nothing!

That might be a question for your dr.
At the very least, if/when they pop an issue (like abdominal pain) it would
certainly be pertinent for you to mention your condition and it might
warrant more testing on them than the norm.
