Had to chime in and say "Me, me, me, me, me"!!!
Guess I thought I was the only one! It definitely makes my DH frustrated
because he thinks I'm being negative. But I "practice" before every
doctor's visit- I think of the absolute worst thing that they could tell me
and then plan out our routes for coping... emotionally, medically,
financially, etc.
On the plus side, that's how I got to become a Stay At Home Mom, we were
planning for a worst-case scenario and realized that we could (barely) make
it without my paycheck. So there is a brighter side to being paranoid, I
guess!

<<For me it was a self-defense mode. If things were bad then I'd already
expected them and it didn't knock me down. But if things went better than
anticipated it was a surprise bonus and extra special. It made me less
vulnerable to hurting emotionally.
Playing mind games with myself I guess! lol>>
