you asked the paediatrician?
This reminds me of the afternoon that I rushed Becky (at about 6yrs) to the
ER as she had croup and was passing out every time she started coughing. The
doctor did come by but did nothing but instruct the nurse to send us back
home...thankfully my oldest had croup at eighteen months :-) and I went home
with Beck and did everything (minus the meds) that I had seen them do with
Christine (she had been hospitalized for 5 days). Becky (and I) survived but
I stopped using the ER in that city and only used doctors that knew us and
that I was confident that would treat Becky.
I would love to hear more about Daniel.
