[tri-med] being pregnant with a special needs kid - Michelle

Michelle:

I was pregnant with Corey with Soleah at one of her worst times (not to
mention a preteen who was learning to talk back and a senior in high school who
was trying to break all of the rules) !!! I thought I was going to die during
those last two months. I sometimes had to drag her up stairs to get her
bathed, ready for bed, etc. because she was so stubborn. I cried more than I
ever had in my life. It's amazing Corey came out in one piece . . . OH! And
there was the fact that I was 40! Hmmm . . . makes me think if I am sane . . .
I say all this to say--it was all worth it and everyone is better
now--including me! Just keep reminding yourself it'll all be over soon and
everything will be better! Don't overdo it over the holidays--JUST SAY NO!!!

  Love, Nanci

Irene, Vent away!! I know almost exactly how you
feel, except I just have Faren right now. There will
be another bundle of "joy" coming in the next couple
of months. I sware, just getting Faren TO the car
seat and IN the car seat is just too exhausting. That
usually means carrying her to the car

Nanci - Wife to Mike, the ever kind and patient one . . . Alicia, 22, in her
LAST year of nursing school! . . . Shani, 16, homeschooler, biggest helper . .
. Soleah, 12, Trisomy 18M--always teaching me . . . Corey, 4, singer,
drama-king!

Romans 5:3 . . . but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation
produces perserverance; and perserverance, character; and character, hope.
