[tri-med] Re: back to school

Keren starts "real" school TOMORROW!!! I'll definitely try to get an
update out after her first day.

She'll be going three mornings a week to a local
severely-multiply-impaired school (it services about five districts in
our area). She'll be in a class of other 3-5 year olds (no more than 9
in the class, with a teacher and two para-pros). We're so excited
about it because her teacher seems wonderful (and I've heard nothing
but good things about her), plus she'll receive physical therapy,
occupational therapy, music therapy, feeding therapy, speech therapy,
etc. there from professionals. Also, she'll be able to take the bus to
and from, which will work out very well, once I get used to the idea of
sending my almost 3-year-old off on a school bus!

I'm going to school with her tomorrow to observe and be there to answer
questions. I also want to make sure Keren knows that I'm connected
with this new place where she's going! We shall see what we shall
see.... Clarissa will be enjoying a morning with her grandmother and
aunt so that I can totally focus on Keren :) .
