[tri-med] Re: back to school

Eleora is supposed to start school for the first time Sept. 8th but her =
IEP
meeting is not set up until August. 30th. the school people have changed =
the
meeting 4 times once without even telling me.  They have not given me =
the
opportunity to see the schools and I am supposed to be part of the team
(yeah right!!)  I am very nervous.  When I called some local =
organizations
to get information on what is involved in an IEP meeting they told me =
they
have had more complaints about wake county (my county) in the past year =
then
they have ever had before. I have no idea what is going on all I know is =
if
I don't agree with the what the team decides Eleora does not go to =
school.
Even if I do agree they have to get all the equipment in the school =
before
she can start I am trying to be calm and trying to get a mediator in the
meeting with me but no one is calling me back and when I asked the =
person in
charge of the meetings I get a rude answer of I can't tell you anything
back.  I am so frustrated.
