Another example of differences between doctors / countries. Imotrax (or its
Aussie equivalent) was relatively new here when I was pregnant with Alex and
incredibly expensive. None of my doctors would let me take it once I was
pregnant, they all felt that narcotics were safer for the baby. They were
also dead set against me taking asprin. I am not sure why on that one
though - It could have been because I had one particular migraine that
caused a temporary paralysis down one side - not sure. It sure scared the
heck out of me when it happened.
