[tri-med] Re: back pain

Hi Erin :o)
I went to a chiropractor while I was pregnant because my back, leg and hips 
hurt so bad. I remember walking to the mailbox or just walking at work and 
my leg would just buckle with no warning :o( I remember the wierd waddle I 
developed to compensate for my hip and back pain too :o( I never laugh at 
waddling prenant women because I know why they walk the way they do 
sometimes. The chiropractor had an interesting contraption especially for 
people with big bellies...it was on the floor and I had to kneel...it was 
actually very comfy because I missed being on my stomach. It put no pressure 
on my stomach at all but it had me sort of reclining foward instead of 
backward. It really did help me....might be worth checking out??? Maybe also 
a massage therapist might be able to help?? I can't speak intelligently 
about taking pain pills while pregnant....although I DID have to have a few 
Imotrex stat dose injections while pregnant with Devon because of increasing 
bouts of migraines...the OB told me it was safe...but taking anything scared 
me!!!
