OMG! That sounds soooo much like Haiden!!! I can't begin to tell you
everywhere we have been for answers and no one as any. All trial and error.
Plus, meds work differently on him, making him more hyper or more sensitive or
more obsessive, blah, blah. It gives me much peace to know that he is not the
only one out there with these actions and not just that we have created this
ourselves. I appreciate your input greatly. Does Brianna sleep all the way
through the night?? Is the psychiatrist that you brought her to familiar with
Tri-9? We've been to Mayo, Chicago, a geneticist from Virginia...a lot of
places. We really want to help him control his anxiety, obsessiveness, and
perseverations because it seems as if he would be able to do more. Each time
he has had anesthesia (for T&A and MRI) he comes out of it more relaxed and
able to function more patiently. Not that he could get a daily dose of
anesthsia (lol) but maybe if he sleeps more restfully and through the
night it would help him relax more during the day. We keep perservering.
Thanks much for your input!
Thea
Don't know if this will help........but we just had Brianna diagnosed by a
psychiatrist. She has OCD and anxiety. We are getting ready to start meds and
therapy. She is very obsessive and compulsive. Hard to change her mind if she
is
'in a doing mode.'
