Hi Nancy! Maria (T-9, Mosaic) does the exact
samething. She can't handle loud places, such as
family gatherings at the holidays--those are espially
hard for her. I see her "zone" a lot then, but she
also does it when she's just watching TV. Her
pediatrician at first (years ago) thought they were
seizures, but I can always get her to snap out of them
but calling her name, (sometimes 3,4,5 times) or
making a loud noise such as clapping. I'm not worried
about them tho, because she can be brought out of them
and the "zoning moments" seem harmelss enough.
Have a good weekend
:)

mom to Maria, T-9 Mosaic syndrome
