[tri-med] Re: a second child with a trisomy?

Hi again Karen
I just answered your question with out reading further posts
Rebecca had only 2 vessels in her umbilcal cord too. but the Doctor told me
that that that sometimes happened. We did not know at birth that Rebecca had
T13, I chose not to do the prenatal testing, as the other person wrote
ignorance is bliss!! I wanted a happy pregnancy.
Cindy Mom to Kayla and Rebecca Both Partial T13

  Irene,
Thanks for answering. My daughters 1st child is
"not " an inherited trisomy but when they told her the
sonogram on this baby showed a two vessel umbilical
cord, I immediately started looking things up. I
SHOULD NOT HAVE DONE THAT!! Furthermore, I had even
swore to myself I wouldnt do that.....but I did. I AM
NOT PASSING ANY INFO ON TO MY DAUGHTER THOUGH.She had
decided to have the baby no matter what and is just
trying to be positive.
I appreciate the information you gave. It sorta
gives me hope.
thanks Much
Karen
