[tri-med] Re: When do you stop a medication?- Prevacid

I have to agree, I have never heard of this connection either!  Caroline has 
been on Prevacid since she was 5 months old.  Thank God, she has never had 
pneumonia, in fact, she doesn't even get sick that often and, when she does, 
it is just a mild cold that is gone within a day or so.  We have played 
around with her dosage in the beginning but now she has been taking 30 mg of 
Prevacid (the max) for over a year without any trouble.

Of course, all our kids are so different that this doesn't mean the Prevacid 
didn't have anything to do with his pneumonia!
