It might have a bearing I guess - but your terminations are way down on ours
(no comment). People in Aus are almost twice as likely to have a pregnancy
terminated because of T-18 or T-13 (thats what it is looking like at the
moment - as I said my calculations havent been checked)
This particular study rules out heart problems and such as a major
contributing factor to the early demise of our children, but they also admit
that the way they did that was flawed.

We are a huge melting pot as well, our government is always referring to our
wonderful "bio-ehtnic cultrual diversity", in fact its pretty hard these
days to find a "white anglo saxon" Aussie - its just that there appears to
much less distinction than in the US. If there is a distinction made then
its usually derogatory - and thats why the Asians and muslims get singled
out - when I was growing up it was Greeks and Italians, now its Asians and
muslims :-((
