Well said, Nanci! Mari's been on a vent while recovering from flu/pneumonia. She did just fine---even with major heart defects. I think a big part is that our trisomy kids don't always respond to medicine & procedures the same way a typical kid might. (I think Karen just said this when explaining one of the Master's procedures.)
