[tri-med] Re: Welcome Denise

Hi Denise:
Welcome to this list.  As many people have said in the past, we hate to "meet"
you under these circumstances but we welcome you regardless.  I hope you will
find lots of great information and support here.  And forgive us if sometimes
we get a little "off topic"  . . .

I don't have any experience with a diaphragmatic hernia but I'm sure there are
others who do.  You will hear from families that have children with trisomy 18
who are living quite a bit longer than ever expected (years longer!)

Give it some time as some of the families don't check mail every day.  We look
forward to hearing more about your baby boy . . .

Blessings, Nanci

My unborn son has been diagnosed with trisomy 18 and a congenital diaphragmatic
hernia and I have been told nothing can be done, he will not be incubated to
keep him alive and there is no hope. I can find no details of similar cases and
wondered if anyone could give me any information.
Many Thanks
