[tri-med] Very Special Arts of Wisconsin

Just an FYI...

VSA arts of Wisconsin, an organization designed to celebrate the artistic
achievements of children and adults with disabilities, is issuing its annual
statewide Call for Art.  VSA is seeking submission of artwork by children
with disabilities.  Students ages 5-15 submit to the Children's Art
Collection; those 16 and older submit to the Adult Art Collection.  A jury
of art professionals will select five entries to be added to each
collection. Five additional entries will be selected as honorable mentions.
Both collections travel throughout the state and are viewed by thousands of
people at museums, galleries, schools, businesses, and libraries. The
students will be recognized at an awards ceremony, and each award recipient
will receive a cash award or gift certificate.  Please share this
information with teachers, and invite students with disabilities to submit
entries.  The submission deadlines are:  Monday, January 16, 2006 for
students 16 and older and Tuesday, January 31, 2006 for students 5 to 15.
