WHOOHOO....We got the Vail bed approved for Nicholas. The people at Vail
wrote an appeal to our insurance company. I don't know what they wrote, but
it must have made a difference! It should be here in 2 weeks! I can't wait
to get the little "wanderer" in it! Maybe it will help him go back to sleep
when he wakes up at night because he won't be able to wander around his
room.
Nick still does not have an appetite after his surgery. I guess it will
take time, but I hate seeing him gag at the sight of food. He's always been
such a little pig. He's lost 5 pounds already. He's just skin & bones.
It's time like these that I wish he had the Mic-key button. Do you guys
have any pros & cons about it? I want him to continue to eat by mouth, but
it's so frustrating to see him take a few bites and stop eating.
