Thanks Jude!

I can't even get the hs councilor to return my call. Just talked with
another parent last night who'd spent 2.5 weeks trying to get her. She
finally called the school office and asked someone to go down and see if the
councilor was in her room. She was. The parent had the school page the
councilor to the phone! ROFLOL The councilor said that this parent "was on
her list to call".

Also heard last night that the councilor is going on a major medical leave
the last day of school and will be off all summer. This means we could have
scheduling issues for Alex (and all the rest of the hand done spec ed
students) as they are done over the summer.

Of course, this is the same councilor who worked with Alex one-on-one in his
spec ed Eng class last week and put him in reg ed Lit and Comp!!!! He's not
had reg ed English since 2nd grade!!!!! And World History with a book that
could kill you if it was dropped on your head!!! Only non-reg ed class was
Intergrated Science with isn't technically spec ed----it's in between reg
and spec ed. HOW DID SHE MAKE THESE DECISIONS????????? And no way in he##
I'm signing that course request form until I talk with her.

I swear, this whole school deal just keeps getting worse. I'm sure there's a
light at the end of the tunnel but fear it's a train heading my way! :-)
