when Phil (our second child) had to take the Gov. class they told us he
should take it in summer school so he could get more one on one. That was
because we had only been living in the U.S. for two years and he did not
know much about the U.S. system. And an all A student wonder why no one
thought of that for Alex. Is that an option for Alex or is it too late to
go that route?

It's too late because he needs the credit by the end of May.

Right now the plan is: wait and see if he passes or fails the class. If he
fails the class we can jettison a class next sememster he doesn't need for
graduation requirements and put Economics in it's place WITH MORE
ACCOMODATIONS.
We're also working on what his mid-term testing situation will be.

Neither I nor Alex's caseload teacher knew that this second marking period
was so test heavy (and Alex NEVER tests well, often not passing or barely).
Out of 6 grades only 1 was an assignment, the rest were tests.
Biggest downside is that he would also be taking Governemnt that semester as
well.

What 'cha gonna do?

I'm just hoping we're not busing out chops all break on school work. We need
the break!!
