Thank you for your response and the links. Glad that
you concur over The Safe Shoppers Bible's efficacy. I
already knew about the primary components of OxiClean
and they don't particularly alarm me; its the more
resent "improved" formula with the glitzy blue
crystals that makes me wonder.
We don't use "fabric softener," and I wish my wife
wouldn't buy the regular laundry detergent with the
optical brighteners. Ever since I can remember, I
never liked the fragrances in commercial household
products. Air fresheners, horrendous: perfume with
olfactory anesthetic. One of the most offensive smells
to my nose has been Charmin though Pampers is worse.
Most commercially available fragrances are compounded
with phthalates, check a realy good link:
http://www.nottoopretty.com
And I have theory regarding the possibility that using
disposable diapers results in lower sperm counts in
males, later in life of course. The natural mom's camp
attributes this to the heat released by the "super
absorbent" gel used in disposables, but I wounder if
it might be connected to phthalates in the awful sent.
I also dread using the PVC tubing to feed Phoebe -
phthalates are used to make the otherwise brittle
polymer flexible.
Now for this new use of the word "compound," if a
carbon is removed from a fructose molecule it would no
longer be fructose molecule. I imagine that the
process is patented and not easily found on the web.
Anyway, I am among the folks that think fructose isn't
a wonderful thing to consume. Bottom line, I am
skeptical of the product you sell, and yes the soils
are being depleted and poisoned for that matter. This
and all the disgusting products that are sold are just
some of the wonders of the "free market" we have
allowed to evolve.
One more more thing folks before I have to go. Since I
do not wish to ingest gobs of aluminum I wouldn't take
colloidal metals concoctions. Oh, the fields on the
west coast where much of the produce is grown has not
been depleted as much as the "heart land" where most
of the grain is grown...
