We've had quite a few discussions on the EFA's on the list(s) in the past.

It's esp important around here because we're not fish eaters.

The one we use is based on organic flax seed oil and organic borage seed
oil.
It contains Omega-3, Omega-6, Omega-9 and Gamma-Linolenic Acid.
(Hubby Jim is the supplement investigator around here and I'm happy to let
him be! lol)

Alex has been taking the above for years. I used to break open a capsule and
put it into his baby cereal/foods. When he got older it was a spread on
toast or mixed in pasta. Now he swallows the capsule.

Alex's regime also includes Co-Q10, vit C and B, beta -carotene, natural E,
Arginine. Those are the am pills.

Dinner time he gets what we call 'big green'. It's a whole food based
multiple vit that contains 63 ingredients: the general vits plus things like
Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, Green tea leaf, sprirulina, barley and wheat
grass, bee pollen, Licopene etc. It's quite a list.
The directions call for 3 per day but we only give him one as his diet is
fairly good most of the time.

During illness we also include Echinacea root and increase the Vit C and B.
Which we are doing right now........Alex is fighting an upper respirator
infection. So far no lung involvement and I'm aiming to keep it that
way!!!!!!!
