[tri-med] Re: Toxic products?

Thanks, but I don't know about that. I don't have the
time to research everything, and I make assumptions as
everyone else does. I choose to go with the most
"natural" substances where possible. For instance we
do general cleaning with spray bottles of vinegar,
hydrogen peroxide, and alcohol (ethanol not
isopropyl). I sometimes use the handy H2O2 as a mouth
"wash". For tub and tile my wife uses (though I can't
vouch for it) Oxyclean. We use chlorine bleach only on
rare occasions, and I won't have ammonia in the house.

For Phoebe... I do give her some vitamin C, some other
supplements here and there, most importantly for the
developing brain are OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS - being a
vegetarian I use the algae derived type, and I have
given her a little herb tea from time to time. It's
very hard to tell what her particular complaint might
be, but there's no end to the places she puts her
mouth. So, if she has a foul smell - I seem to be very
sensitive to bacterial orders - coming from her inerts
I usually give her a drop of oregano oil in her tube
(a company named North American makes food grade
products.) As for more general household information,
I think that the "Safe Shopper's Bible" is a good book
though it is do for a new edition:
