Hi, This is Karla, mother to Joey who has trisomy 8 mosaic syndrome.
I'd communicated with you quite a long while ago but do to family
diruption have not had the leisure to keep up with the tri-med group.
However my son is having a medical crisis and I'm looking for any
help I can get. Yesterday Joey, who is 6 had his bowel perforate
after an apparent bout with gastroenteritis. When the surgeon went
inthey found 14 inches of his bowel woth 100s of ulcers and holes.
Any evidence that your son has had abdominal problems like this? He
also has had a lab test called a CRP that has been elevated off the
charts.
