[tri-med] Re: Touch-screen laptop computer

Have you tried getting a Dynavox for Candace?  We are in the process of
getting one for Annette.  There are different ways a person can use this
communicaiton device - eye gaze, infrared facilitated by head movement,
auditory relay, and visual switch.  There is a website for the Dynavox.  Has
anyone used one of these with their kids?  How did it work?

Hello everyone. I am in the process of trying to get Candace a touch-screen
laptop computer from her waiver. I need to get letters of referral from
specialists, which I can get. I need to find out where I can get one here in
the U.S. and how much it is going to cost. Can anyone help me out? Candace is
not able to manipulate a mouse so we feel the best option for her is to use a
touch-screen laptop. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
