We were before the hospital but we also were hassling with the insurance
company over getting Micro Lipids to add to her formula. That was finally
approved (via a back door approach - the insurance company's case manager
has been absolutely wonderful!) so the hospital started her on them there.
So at this point, no more Polycose. (And we had just opened a new can!)
Right now the only measurement she is lagging on is weight... length, head
size, all that is in the normal range. Weight isn't even on the curve for
her age. And you would figure that a child not gaining weight "properly"
would start to get real weak. No... not this kiddo! All the nurses
commented on how strong she was. She would put up a real fight when they
had to suction or do something that required restraining her. It would
usually take 2-3 people to restrain all the flailing limbs. Princess Hannah
was NOT amused!
