That wasn't Dr K I let her kick.  In fact, it wasn't
even anyone in THAT office.  But we try to avoid him
too as his bedside manner is also lacking.  Once after
a day surgery on her ears he told me to go out to my
car and get another change of clothes for her because 
she'd thrown up on the first set.  I warned the man
she couldn't be left alone, or she'd pull something out.
IV had been removed though, so it at least wasn't life
threatening.  He said he'd watch her till I got back.
He didn't, and she pulled all the packing out of her 
ear.  He got called back to put it back in so she could 
go home....

I think he was the one who left the hospital without 
talking to us after the 3rd failed extubation when she 
ended up with the trach too.  About 3 hrs later after
the nurse called and left him a message he called us
and started with, "Everything went just fine...."  
That's when I lost my sense of humor! I made sure
Pransky heard about it too...he was not amused either.

Question Nan, did you ever find out if the new
library has a poly com unit for Debbie's class?
Port District doesn't, and Dr Pransky doesn't 
know of one anywhere either.  I'm at a loss...
She's got a back up class plan if we can't find
one for this semester, but really hopes we can.
