[tri-med] Re: Those with a g-tube kiddo...

We moved Caroline to a big bed when our third daughter was born and after
she outgrew her cradle.. She was 2. Of course, she doesn't try to stand
up, and we doubt she will. We put her bed against the wall and put up a
railing on the other side. The bed also has a small railing of its own
built into the top and bottom of the bed. It is small, but those, coupled
with the railing we added, pretty much covers the length of the bed.
If I were you, I would just use the bassinet. We used a cradle for a long
time (but it is bigger than a bassinet). Once your new baby is ready for a
regular crib, you probably will be better able to answer whether a big bed,
or another crib would be a better option.

Good luck! I am also a little jealous every time I hear about a new baby
coming. Makes me think I am not sure I am done yet and gives me a little
baby fever! I just LOVE LOVE newborns!!!
