ah the memories this brings:)
this was about the time I got a playpen! hadn't used one for my other two
but as my second was starting to move around (16mths) and get into
everything, my three year old was getting frustrated because she was old
enough to sit and play, colour and build things. So I got a play pen (it was
actually a huge wooden hand-me-down and it was her domain...she could leave
her lego intact and crayons scattered and build forts all safe from the
little ones :)

Hi Wendi,
I kept Becca in the crib till she was standing and tall enough that I was
afraid she would climb out even with the mattress at its lowest position and
the rail up...mind you she was my third. Then I put her in a lower single
bed with a rail one end to the other the other side against the wall....

When/how did to make the switch from a crib to a regular bed? I'm trying
to figure what to do with Jackson when the baby comes. He's almost 3 1/2.
I don't know if he'd stay in a regular bed and I don't want him trying to
get up in the middle of the night. The baby will be in a bassinet for
awhile and I can't decide if we should just buy another crib.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
