[tri-med] Re: The dumb things people say.

Like you and Penny said--I do try and always point out the "odds" but try to
give some hope. Just want to give the other side of the story . . . I'm not
sure how all these people get my name. I get calls from all over the country,
not just Texas. Maybe I should start asking--lol!

I've only really had a few people contact me (tri-14) and all but one ended
up terminating.....they feel that Alex is not 'representative' of a typical
t-14 outcome. All they know is what the drs say and Alex's story doesn't
fall into line with that.

And THAT is frustrating to me.

Nanci - Wife to Mike, the ever patient one . . . Alicia, 20, nursing student .
. . Shani, 14, homeschooler, biggest helper . . . Soleah, 10, Trisomy
18M--always teaching me . . . Corey, 2, my boy-wonder!

Romans 5:3 . . . but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation
produces perserverance; and perserverance, character; and character, hope.
