And with me and my sister you can substitute "poison oak" for the cold sore in
that sentence.  I always said I had it naturally in my system, but I've had 
doctors 
tell me this is "impossible".  Still, all we had to do was see the bushes out 
the car 
window, a cold chill would go down our spines, and we would break out in a 
rash.  

In fact, I had poison oak so often as a child that I didn't get my small pox 
shot
until I enter nursing school (after they'd stopped routinely giving them to the 
public).  
Every time they came to the school for a clinic (yep folks they use to have 
clinics at 
the public schools, and immunize us all for free), I had poison oak, so they 
wouldn't 
give me the small pox immunization.

And then there's Fawna who came down with pneumonia with her measles and
almost died....but I probably had poison oak too!!!
