Dom also had chicken pox before he was two years old. He had it just a couple
of months before I got him as a foster child. My other kids all had chicken
pox that my oldest daughter caught from a classmate's younger sister at a
sleepover. She was 14 and got very sick and also ended up with a secondary
staph
infection which was even more difficult to treat. She has remained sensitive to
skin staph infections ever since and if she sees those little pimples with the
white pus at the top, she gets on antibiotic right away. She missed the last
three weeks of school that year and had to take final tests over the phone.
The other kids, Kaila, Chris and Ali had mild cases and got over it quickly.
