I don't think that the list is an appropriate forum to debate such an 
emotive topic, and my views may just surprise you. My responses related 
specifically to the topic at hand - vaccinations in the Koori population. I 
think that many people forget the total history when they get stirred up on 
this particular topic. The entire country of Australia has been built and is 
still being built by people who have been "denuded of their way of life, 
their wealth and their reality" Society is full of human beings and human 
beings make mistakes, albeit most are made in good faith and with the very 
best of intentions. But little if anything can be gained by recriminations 
and accusations. We can however understand, learn, and change - but even 
that is frought with problems because we cannot control that huge variable 
in everything - human nature.
