Same here for Alex. He's never been invited to much at all. Alex talks about
having 'best friends' etc but it's only a 'school' friend....sometimes in
Alex's mind. Kids don't seem to really hassle him, some think he's neat
(soccer boys) but they don't include him. He's 'different' you know. :-(
Same thing when he started school but the Mommy version. Volunteering in
kindergarten, first,second grades etc the Mom's all banded together.....but
Alex and I weren't often included. They'd talk about all the common things
their children were doing, get togethers amongst them etc.
Don't think it was me personally. :-) LOL
