Claire, like most children on this list, was also not expected to make it to
terms based on what the drs read in the text books. So we prepared a birth
plan to control whatever we could. We wanted to meet her and prayed for
that opportunity.
Once she seemed to thrive, we basically decided, after reading about other
triers, to "treat the symptoms" of the trisomy, keep Claire comfortable and
surround her with positive attention. She goes everywhere with us and does
it without a complaint. She just spend the weekend at the beach.
She just turned 5 and doing well.
You will get excellent advice on this list.
Best wishes for you and your very special little bundle of joy.
