it , is that I may be at fault for Anjellaa's T-18. The 2nd paragraph, the
following possibilities, although rare, cannot be ruled out , tells me that
it may be my fault. Can anyone tell me different? John Faulkner, and

I think Karen answered it well, but I do feel for you, we did not have
prenatal diagnosis, and when Rebecca was born we did see genetic
councillors, we did not have any testing done as they felt that there was no
reason to test as they felt it was a de nova occurrence ( see reply to
Karen's post) I did however have an amino with my next pregnancy which
showed no abnormalities. It is unfortunate that we do not have control over
our genes as many list members who do have balanced translocations causing
defects can attest, but as Karen said, the incidence of t18 being hereditary
is rare.
