I am peverse but if this were me and I wanted the checks done regularly

would............
get a copy of the recommendation for screening from the SOFT website
(John
Carey's article in the "for professionals" section) to the doctor. With
it
would be a letter asking him to sign the attached waiver and saying that
seeing he doesn't see the need for screening as recommended will he
accept
full responsibility should Sierra develop Wilm's tumour or other problem
that would be detected by the abdominal ultrasounds.............. of
course
if he refuses to sign the waiver you understand that the referral for
screening, fully covered by insurance, will arrive automatically in the
mail
every 3 months. Bet you would get the screenings :-)))
(told you I am peverse and not above a little coersion)
