This is true of many prescription medications people take.
 Even reading all the literature that comes from the pharmacy with the 
prescription is often eyeopening (and yes, I read it every time with any 
prescription anyone around here takes).

We always try to NOT take any meds, even antibiotics, unless absolutely 
necessary. Most of them just aren't good for general well being.
Same thing for any 'new' immunizations. They need a good 30+ years to 
establish long term safety. Funny, you don't often hear about immunizations 
that went off the market.........

But try to explain that to my mother........her first thought upon illness 
or medical issue is 'what drugs will fix it'.  :-(
