[tri-med] Re: Sleep Apnea?Jayne

Thanks Jayne! I will ask the doctor about this. We are going to Stanford
Children's Hospital on Tuesday.....whew!! Got that apt on a wing and a prayer!!
Doctors here want to do surgery......no guarantee it will help Bri, but it
will for sure take away some of her speech quality =(

There HAS to be something that can help her breathe at night!!

The doctor I spoke with today was very helpful and got Bri squeezed into an
appt next week! I am SO relieved

Amazing to me, but by the phone consult today, found out that Bri should NOT
be wearing a full face mask......since she vomits every night we put that
darned thing on her.
Just cannot believe they didn't think of that(or tell me)!! AND the fact that
when she is getting air via her nose only, her mouth drops open and the air
does not help....SATS drop. Geesh, cannot believe how much researching I am
having to do. THis is just crazy/nuts that her doctors are not helping us out
more. I am really feeling like her Trisomy is being factored in the way of
proper treatment. Just not right at all.

Thanks again, so much!
