Hi,
  Canulas are the small prongs that go inside the nostrils. They're like the 
ones you see used for oxygen, but the vapotherm canulas are a bit larger since 
there's more flow.  You could do an internet search for "vapotherm" and get 
more information, or ask your doctor. It's  a relatively new thing here in the 
Twin Cities, but apparently there's been a lot of success with it.

What is a canula? I will ask the doctor about this......
Does Mieko have to wear this inserted via nose or throat? Thanks!
