condition would best be primarily treated by a docotr specializing in
Neurology or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Although orthopedic
surgeons may be invilved in your child's case, it is best carried out in a
multidisciplinary Children's Hospital, rather than a specialty hospital such
as Shriners. As a result, we are unable to >accept your child for care at
the Houston Shriners Hospital.
Ok, so she was denied acceptance due to hospital not having the
procedures/facilities to properly treat her (which dad said what the #1
reason for anyone being denied because they offer such specialized services.
They also operate some burns hospitals). Sounds as if they think she needs
more than they offer.
Do you want my dad to pursue this to the best of his ability or do you want
to drop it?
