Its already been screened in the US, actually it has already screened in Aus
too - this is a rerun for us. I looked on the US
National Geographic website but couldn't make head or tails of their program
guides sorry. Perhaps you could ring them? Or even call
Great North Productions in Alberta Canada (they were the company that were
commissioned to make it).
It has also screened in the UK and Europe (now hearing it in a foreign language
would be neat!!!). The UK is generally about a month
behind us in National Geographic screenings so maybe they will be getting the
repeats soon??
I am actually spitting chips - I have cable TV but only the basic package
(cartoons etc - I have it for Alex as I am not a TV
watcher) and pay $15 a month for it. Unfortunately National Geographic isn't
included in the package so I called to get it added on
for a month so I could actually see it. But......... they want me to pay the
new rate of $23 a month which is less channels than I
get now AND then pay the extra $10 a month for National Geo and some other
stupid channels that I would never watch. Thats
effectively double what I am paying now!!!! Of course I wont be able to go back
to the old package!!! The girl did tell me I could
have free telephone rental for a year but didn't have an answer when I asked
her how that was possible given I already had free
telephone rental because I have cable internet........
Having been a dedicated consumer since the inception of Optus I think I will be
writing a letter of unhappiness. I have always been
a "fan" because it was thanks to their International operator one night that I
found SOFT - but this is their second big strike in
my book.
They may crush your cookie but you always have your fortune.
