[tri-med] Re: Shirley & Philina

We are all keeping our thoughts on Fana & The Philly Girl right now, and
it's good to get the update from time to time. I remember going through the
hospital stress with Jess, and there is surely an enormous amount of that
right now for her. I send her special thoughts and prayer.

I like the quote from Casals. It reminds me of a poem by Yevgeny
Yevtuschenko, who in a footnote to one of his poems mentions that in the
Ural mountains, young men courting a lady rather than saying "I love you"
say: "I feel compassion for you".

Caring, compassion.....I like the implied potential for far reaching
inclusiveness of these words.

Wishing everyone a Good & rewarding New Year, and especially sending those
wishes to Shirley & Philina,

Ron
