LOL - my knowledge started out as college human physiology and anatomy (I
hated anatomy lab - the smell!!!) But Alex and all our friends made me go
back to my lecturers and get an advanced course, particularly in embryology.

It also helps that the now Chancellor of the university I went to used to be
a lecturer of mine, and being a "mature age" student I got on really well
with my lecturers and hada different raport. After Alex was born I
(jokingly) went and told him it wasn't fair, he jinxed me. Even he
remembered the lecture when he looked my class of 110 students in the eye
and said statistically one of you will have a severely disabled child.
Actually three of us have........... He himself had a good understanding as
he has a daughter wth spina bifida. So any extra "bits" I need I generally
have a whole university on tap.

I have not lost my mind - it's backed up on disk somewhere.
