Jake at school always makes me weepy. A few weeks ago -  Fridays at
MawMaw's, he was playing at the table with paper & colors.  Out of nowhere
he asked "How to write your name?"  I told him & he wrote it, just like
that - M A  , well, he didn't get all the way to W, but he will, I'm sure.
He is in a small class, just 6 kids, all special needs.  Each kid is taught
using the method that works best for him.  Amanda let me read some of the PR
literature about the school - they have 6 different methods to teach
reading.  Can you believe that there are 6 different ways to teach reading!!
They do amazing things.

I really wish I had whatever it is that makes a good teacher good.
